Underwater works performed by divers with the aim of ship, submarine, platform, pipeline and other maintenance are very complex activities. The organization of this kind of work requires a large number of highly professional staff and the mobilization of a large quantity of equipment. The unchangeable role in maintenance of underwater construction uses the procedure of wet underwater welding by which the repairs of fractures on constructive elements can be efficiently and quickly performed on site, and when good preparation and organization is possible to perform the installation welding as well. Underwater welding is very important for the oil and ship industry as it considerably reduces the time of work performance, and consequently offers a considerable economical saving.
